Technical Recruiter who can assemble an A-Team

What You'll Do:

  • Double our engineering team in one year, while increasing the already high technical bar
  • Test, refine and perfect your talent acquisition strategies
  • Research and uncover top talent using creative methods and sources (more than LinkedIn)
  • Bring your creative ideas to life and execute at least one major stunt in your first year
  • Make recruiting our core competency by constantly learning and trying new ideas
  • Feel a sense of accomplishment at having built something

Requirements:

  • Track record of successful outbound recruiting in the tech industry
  • Experience executing and managing recruiting campaigns across multiple channels (web, social/professional networks, and so on)
  • Process oriented thinking demonstrated by analytical and data-driven decisions in the past
  • Understanding of relevant tech skills, companies, conferences, open source communities
  • Prior sourcing experience at a start-up is ideal

About our office and remote work

We are located in downtown Toronto with nearby access to both of the main subway lines. Currently, we are all working from home; we encourage our teams to work from wherever they are most productive, and many of us will continue to work from home in the future, either full-time or partially. While we're all working remotely, we’ve come up with a few ways to keep everyone on the same page, including a quick company-wide check-in every Monday, remote coffee breaks on Fridays, and ad hoc topical sharing sessions. Another big upside is you get to be around your pets and plants (if you have them).
